Pink screen & freeze bug: developers please fix

Latest app update (and still not fixed in the very latest one either) has broken my game, whenever I go to move services, buildings, upgrade roads, place anything, I get this weird pink glitchy scree...

Just one of a number of bugs that have appeared in the last year.  Error 17, game keeps closing, among so many others.  Yet, EA insists on fixing stuff that ain’t broken and that just causes more problems.
