Re: After installing latest update Oct 5 2020 game crashes instantly on launch.

The game starts again after I installed the recent update.

Unfortunately, it started from scratch.

After a few moves, I could log in to Google Play Games, but there was no previous game data any more :oC

Looks like my old city was deleted.

Does anyone have any advice on how to recover it in an alternative way?

I have contacted Zendesk as well, but I dont expect much of that, based on past experiences

    @BluestreakNL Any chance you saved the data to your Facebook account too? If so, try log out and log back in.

    Hope you can recover your city.

    Thanks for your reply, but I'm one of those without a Facebook account.

    A matter of principles, but I guess that it might have made a difference in these circumstances :o)

    My city must be active *somewhere* in the universe.. I can still visit it from the mayors club list.

    Just to close the topic, Zendesk was able to help me and they restored my city.

    They copied the old one over my new playerID, and afterwards I removed the old one from our club.
