Same product, lower values for veteran players

Recently I've found that the Mayor's Passes are just not worth it anymore. Let's be honest, a veteran player who's got everything unlocked has no use for City Expansion Deeds, city expansion items, mountain and beach items or regular coins.

Yes, you can sell some of these things for regular coins - but who needs those when you're sitting on millions and with nothing to spend them on once you've fixed the Services 2.0 disaster? Regular Simdollars are just poorly integrated into the rest of the game these days - we need all sorts of other coins but we can't exchange one for the other.

Meaning you collect a lot of useless coins and useless stuff that can only be sold for more useless coins. While you're lacking in coins that you do need. What's the point of this and how does it make sense?

Here's my proposal:

Assuming there won't be a direct exchange mechanism between types of coins ...

At least allow players who literally cannot use certain items from the MP to exchange them for Sim Cash (the green ones, obviously). Or just let us pick a different reward from the Pass, like storage expansion items, Neo Simdollars, Train or Regional simdollars. Perhaps even Design Contest coins.

I'm at the point where half the stuff in the MP is just completely useless to me. I have no room for new buildings, the only thing I can still do is collect more trees or more coins for use in the Design Contest. It's honestly the only part of the game that's still interesting to me anyway, so if you want me to buy the MP, make sure there's something in there that I can use in the DC.

  • The entire game is a disaster. If they were to roll back the changes at this point, I still wouldn't play. Between the "helpful" (not, they are incredibly not helpful or nice for that matter) forum staff, unhelpful help desk, and lousy game updates, I've completely lost interest.

Yes Community Managers, you helped push me out with your indifference towards players.

  • I've said before, if they won't give us more land to expand upon, we should be allowed to sell land deeds.
