Train pass - passed away

Since the release that promised more with train pass, I’ve almost lost my railway track to the north of the city.  I say almost because it’s heading off at tangents into the mountains! Reached out for help to player support with no success.

deleted & reinstalled the game but no difference 

is anyone else experiencing disappearing tracks that you can’t reconstruct or reconnect to the rest of the game?
