Just a general question - I am going to avoid criticizing the fact a season is being wasted on a so called holiday that is just 2 weeks away.
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO REMOVE SEASONAL CURRENCY. THE MAJORITY OF US ARE TIRED OF THIS.
Sick of seasonal currency.
I think many are. If seasonal currency was just something we used to spend on buildings or vu items, etc, then I'd live with it. But the currency conversion and hot spots upgrading is just flipping ridiculous - and being given two this round. The developers can keep their hot spots, I'd just like a "completely normal" season that doesn't involve all this rubbish.
We urgently need to return to the seasons of two years ago. Back when seasons lasted 45 days and awards were valuable.
I agree. I think the teams involved with developing and running the game should be required to go through currency conversion methods like we do to earn their paycheck. I have a very strong dislike of the work they have done in the game as of late. The City Report Card is an example of a waste of time.
Wanted to re-up this thread because well, I feel like there will be more complaints about the subject of this thread in the coming days.
Remember the good old days when there wasn’t seasonal currency. All they have to do is revert that code change. Remember when there wasn’t a cap on points and both the Contest of Mayors and Season Track used to be just plumbob points. This game is going downhill rapidly, because the coders are forced to make things worse and worse with no-one listening to the users.
Here’s an idea. Why doesn’t EA post a list of suggested updates and we the users get to vote on which get implemented and which don’t
I miss how seasons used to be prior to the last couple of years. The prizes were worth the effort and we didn’t have all these unnecessary steps either currency exchanges. I enjoyed playing before and now I hate it and I’m bored. I really just do trains and war now.
I have an idea about seasonal currency - EA staff should be paid only in seasonal currency, and then they will have to use a currency converter every 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 24 hours to convert it to the currency they use in their every day life.
I am serious about this idea, if they want to promote seasonal currency, they should feel the pain.
Ha. I love your idea. Pay EA in seasonal currency. This is the best idea I have seen in the forum. I’m really surprised that we don’t have to exchange currency for this Norway season. But, I still hate seasonal currency even if it doesn’t require exchanges.
I'm exceptionally irritated that the new viking walls / gate / watch tower require seasonal currency to purchase. I was looking forward to the black friday events to go crazy with the walls. But now, EA does not let us have any fun.
