Thanks. Hello, the same happened to me now, never observed such issue.
Clicked through those links. I went to Simcity > Technical support> Connectivity > Cant connec to game server. It just shows me the EA twitter feed. Nothing about the issue. Also, no option to contact someone.
What now?
IM having the exact same issues.
Same thing here. Are they doing server maintenance or something?
Same here. I contacted the technical support and didn't help. They reseted my passeord twice, uninstall and install EA app, same wirlth the game, reboot pc, everything and didn't work. Could it be a general outage?
- @vatienzas I am sure the switch over from origin to the EA app recently might be the cause of this ? people are reporting missing games from they're library.. could it be this potentially ?

I contacted an advisor about this issue and they sent me to the forum.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app.
Changing my password
Clearing the cache
Updating the EA app
Nothing has fixed the issue.

Seems the technical support is not helping and addressing the users to the forum, are we expected to fix the issue by ourselves?
We are reporting a major incident with the game and all the workarounds didn't work so far.
Any information on how to access the game succesfully is welcome.

After much troubleshooting to no avail, I opened case #142851221.
I don't think so...I purchase 7 SimCity games last year through EA for my Urban Planning students to use for a project. I was using it this semester as well up until yesterday (April 18, 2023) when my SimCity would not let me play because of the sign in error. My issues did not start until last night. I believe these issues cropped up immediately after a supposed update to the EA servers the other night. I hope they fix this soon because I will have a bunch of angry college students if they don't.

Just bought and installed the game, I am so annoyed!
Installed, deinstalled, reinstalled, repaired, logged out, logged in, restarted PC... EVERYTHING.
Do better EA, that's nothing you want when you just bought and installed a game- @EA_Barry this is the very 1st thing i did 3 days back. what EA help did for me. verified my account then change my password. still same problem and the last he told just to wait for more updates. my game is new i just purchase it last week and i even bought the add ons. how many days now i cannot play it and seemed EA are least bothered about it we are hearing nothing from them. so many of the players have the same problems and dont you think the problems are from your servers. it is so obvious. and pls tell your management to do some thing we want solutions on our problems not alibis. pls
