I play the game and after a little bit it crashes, it says "sim city as stopped working" i know it has nothing to do with my graphix card or anything because it used to do it with simcity 4 not that long ago. I dont know how to fix it, It will not stop crashing. I dont know if its origin but im starting to dislike origin a lot because of these issues.
At least some things will never change. EA still doesn't care about their consumers....
It was very bad today.....it crashed 8 times in 2 hours....I just gave up trying to play the game.....this just started today
The latest series of patches and subsequent crashes are one more reason I hate "online only" games. The game never crashed on me once during my previous 87 hours of play. Now it runs for about three seconds once I see my city. If there were an offline option I could just roll back to a previous working version. But since it's a client, I cannot. I'm at the mercy of an innept quality control department instead.
After the initial launch problems with this game, I figured EA would pull out all the stops and make **bleep** sure this game became EA's flagship for quality. Obviously this is not so. With the number of people expressing concern over this issue, the flame war that appeared to have finally died is starting up all over again. I sure hope this has nothing to do with diverting resources or changing code to accomodate the Mac version.
Absolutely ridiculous. I guess I will add my name to the list of frustrated customers.
It was working OK before the patch (only crashing occasionally...grrrr....but now I can't even load my cities. I was able to make a new city on a different server, but then once I played it a while it crashed as well. Now I can't load any. I was able to start ANOTHER new server and it offered the tutorial. THis is stupid. This game has so much promise and this has it hosed for everyone. MAKE IT AVAILABLE OFFLINE....then I could paly my game that I paid hard earned money for.
THis is absolutely the last EA game I think I will buy. It sucks that I can paly any other game at MAX settings and have now problem, but I can't play Simcity.

Well, after getting tired of suffering these crashes in rehearsals, I worked on the problems.
My English is not good, so I hope I'll make myself understood.
My crashes are related to events that sends SIM CITY to the graphics card. The feedback send by my graphics card does not seem appropriate to SIM CITY.
Side graphics card, that come to the temperature of the card.
FYI, my graphics card is running at nominal temperature of 60°celsius to 100°celsius
So I proceeded to the implementation forced cooling my graphics card for blocked at 40 ° C (nitrogen cooling)
And then there are more crash ... and I no longer detected events SIM CITY.
I therefore told me that this is a concern for the graphics card driver, but looking closely it returns a response on demand event SIM CITY. This is the answer not like SIM CITY.
So I do not know if technicians work above or even if it has already been a response from them. But for my part I can not turn with nitrogen cooling all the time.

Just updated to the new client. Game starts loads my city then BAM 10-30 seconds later the crash comes.
