Anyone else experience laggy gameplay to a point where the game is unplayable?

For me ever since the Season 1 update where they changed the lighting the game has been laggy and borderline unplayable. There are a few times I get stable gameplay but it's inconsistent. The FPS drop is so significant that it puts me off playing the game even though I enjoy it so much. I experience this on PS5 and PS4 and know players that experience it on PC as well.
