I'll add it because it is an interesting idea, but the only game I can personally recall whose developers have done something similar are the Tomb Raider remasters. In those remasters, players are provided an option to seamlessly switch between both legacy and modern graphics/audio in real-time with the push of a controller button.
Nonetheless, while it wouldn't be difficult to import the hundreds of .wav files, the time consuming part would be deciding which legacy Skate 1-3 audio effects are best be applied to what Skate. terrain, and likewise which ambient audio should be played in what areas, etc. admittedly, I'm a sucker for nostalgia, so I support the idea, but I definitely wouldn't count on it.
The Masterchief Collection did this too, at least for the first few games you can switch between remastered and original graphics. That would be really cool if we actually get legacy locations, love the low poly look of San Vanelona.
