Bring back game modes, manual speed, pumping, leaderboards, and rotating maps
I’ve been playing ea skate since skate 1. When each of the versions started to die down playerbase wise the remaining players were either playing the skate game mode or spot battle game mode.
the skate community loves competition. All this new stuff like climbing is cool but it’s all basic stuff, if we want to skate around then we can play skate 1,2 and 3 still.
we need game modes again at bare minimum skate and spot battle. My friends and I have learned all the tricks over the years and with this new version all our skills are basically useless.
we can’t even do lines anymore because you guys messed up the manual speed. We learned how to do all the tricks so we can do manual lines and rack up big points by not repeating tricks but now when we try to do manual lines after the third trick we have no speed. We have to remember this is a video game let it be that and let us do as many tricks in a manual as we want without making us slow down especially when we go down hills in manuals .
also we can’t pump when in half pipes or bowls like we used to. We would nose manual then revert and pump to gain speed but there’s no pumping anymore???
spot battle and skate nonetheless need to comeback with leaderboards and rotating maps like the old skate and we should be able to have custom tshirts and boards like in skate 2.
if you guys can’t get this right like you did the original skate games I’ll be investing in programmers myself to create a better game.
and this map is too small and the social aspect of it is non existent players just skate past each other there’s no sense of community. Playing game modes like skate and spot battle where you are with the same group competing through rotating maps is what made us play for hours and hours.
