Camera Angle Issue

I'm a little over 30 hours into playing the game. I'm enjoying it greatly for the most part. It's clearly different from Skate 1-3, especially the constant tutorial nonsense, but at it's core, I turn down the speech audio and just play the game. 

One of the things that drives me insane is the camera angle constantly reverting back to low, rather than the high angle that I've selected. It happens after completing a handful of missions, sometimes just one.

I've had some issues with lag too, I'm concerned that the online/viewing other players is the source of this, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know. I can live with the microtransaction aspect, I just wish it wasn't constantly online with other players and I could just play the game.
