cant run "skate." because of program I don't have

I get the error "DiscSoft Ltd (DAEMON Tools)" when I try to run Skate. I have never installed the DAEMON Tools program before, and I don’t have anything related to it running in the background or installed. I checked Device Manager and found nothing related. I even installed DAEMON Tools just so I could uninstall it, but that didn’t change anything. Please help.
