So a few minor things that just totally crush the flow and momentum of the game so far.

  1. why can’t I turn while on my board unless I’m moving. Having to get off my board just to turn away from a wall or some object I hit is unnecessary and disruptive. If it can be done by a novice in real life, it can be done in a game.

  2. Physics- the way momentum doesn’t carry and suddenly stops dead prematurely makes it hard to get longer sessions in. As someone who (unfortunately) uses physics in their work, I would prefer not to explain why I shouldn’t lose all of my speed when I’m outpacing cars and try to go up a ramp or grind a rail for more than a few seconds.

  3. 3. LeBron James collision mechanics. Why does bumping into any little thing or attempting things at less than a 30-degree angle result in my character having a 90s movie explosion episode and flying off the board?

  4. Curbs- dude this is the biggest wtf out of everything. When you get to the curb near a sidewalk (when it’s not quite flat but maybe an inch off the ground) your character cannot skate over it no matter how fast they’re going. Again, I know physics, and if a novice can do it in real life, it should be doable in this game. A one inch curb shouldn’t stop me dead, especially when the annoying blue challenge trails lead me over them. I get the whole craze of being realistic, but this isn’t actually realistic and it ruins the flow of the game by making it clunky
