Game does not use GPU NVIDIA GeForce 1660 super

When i first launched two days ago i thought the poor performance was either because the game doesn't like my cpu very much or is just overloaded by the influx of players due though public release. But yesterday before giving it another go i read about potential settings in the nvidia panel that i could change to up the performance, from the very start in the back of my head i had the feeling that this shouldnt be happening as the game could probably run on a potato (i know the game is/will release on mobile but im not trying to mention it as they probably have separate textures and the likes). Nevertheless i went in to nvidia panel and noticed that skate isnt even in the programs list which never happened for any other game, when i was in the nvidia app to update my drivers i also saw skate was missing from the list. When i ran the game and noticed the performance hasn't changed i ran it with task manager and saw something i've never seen before whilst running a game, the gpu at 0-4%. This is pretty scary as my cpu is carrying all the load and i don't know if i should even launch the game until this problem is fixed. Gpu: 1660 super. Cpu: intel i3-10300 (the cpu is obviously a mixed bag, some games function great with it, some refuse)
