Game not recognizing controller properly

The game thinks i am holding the right stick of my controller down the entire time. No it is not a problem with my xbox controller. Yes my controller works perfectly for every other game. Don't know why i have this bug but i hope it gets fixed soon as the game has been unplayable for me since release. if anyone has fixes please let me know!
