Idea addition to the new Skate game

I think it would be a unique idea for EA to add  areas with high security. For example, there are certain areas that are considered “high bust areas” and in those areas you are given limited attempts to try a trick or line. If you get the trick or line within the allotted time and/or number of attempts, then you get rewarded (this can be tixs or rip chips, etc). If you don’t get the trick or line within the allotted time and/or number of attempts, then security is called and you have to run from them (they could possibly be on segways to even the playing field and add challenge). If they “catch” you then you get a “busted” screen and you’re giving a time limit that you’re “banned” from the area. I think this will give the game a little extra street feel and adds to the fun!

Great idea! This was a really fun feature in skate 2. They should have added M-Corp security guards in certain zones. This could be a new challenge type reaching a high score in the secure zone without being hit by security guards. As long as you can turn off the security guards like you can with pedestrians and traffic

Loved this in skate2. Added another element of realism to the game. Somthing the latest release doesn't have.

Next your gonna wanna add actual patrol cops and some sort of jail for when you’re being arrested for the destruction of personal property right? Isn’t already bad enough that body flips and the ‘whole’ let’s copy Fortnite for our money grab ethos that’s already ruining the title and its franchise.

I do think it’d be cool if they expanded the U/I options of throwdowns and the ability to customize this mode more so than it already is. Adjustable sized area, larger number of players, perhaps the ability to create your own line challenge(s)… Are just a few things coming to mind of the top of my head… but I’m almost certain this will never see the light of day….I’m not even convinced EA reads this stuff.

  • i've said this before but this could also be a team challenge where one team earns points by slamming into skaters and the other team tries to get tricks
