Is it possible to transfer progress between accounts/platforms?

I've been using EA Play as my main way of booting skate on my PC since I was first invited on, but I've been told to try using steam instead.  The switch has been great performance-wise, as I'm no longer locked to 25fps and everything is loading faster now.  My one snag is that it's a new account, which means all my progress is no more.  Is there a way to transfer progress and merchandise from my EA Play account to my Steam account, or am I screwed on this front?

    when you first launch the game from steam a window should have popped up to link you EA account to your steam account.

    Skate has cross-progression and so provided you log into the exact same EA account, your progression will carry over. This works for all console editions that the game is on too.
