it scratches the itch but its meh

this game definitely "scratches my skate itch" if that makes sense... i have been itching for a new skate game i love the controls of the entire skate franchise and since skate 3 every other skate game i have tried has been unplayable because the controls. i dont mind the "cartoony" look of this new game if you will its pleasant enough for me to look at  im not too picky. The city is kinda lame doesnt seem like there are too many skate spots i miss the mega ramps the xgames center and the downhill drainage ditches from old games, i absolutely hate the micro transactions i really miss grinding missions to unlock new boards/sponsors/shoes etc... this game doesnt feel like its for skaters but i can put all that aside if the missions actually worked... i know its still super early and a ton more work needs to be done but i cant even do the simple missions i have restarted the game every time it opens fine and i can free rome all i want but the missions just do not work and thats tough for me i hope they can fix it... i remember grinding the tony hawk pro skater games just for the story line and the missions. even the first skate games with coach frank and trying to go pro and get the sponsors and whatnot. i feel like thats something we need again. 

but overall im down i like it and im excited to see what comes of this game... i hope it doesnt get too out of hand with the micro transactions and pay to play.
