More Flatground Tricks: Casper / Anti-Casper from Dark Catch

First of all, two quick notes:

1. English is not my native language, so I used ChatGPT to help translate my feedback.
2. I’m not sure if this is the right place in the forum for this kind of request. If not, I’d be happy to post it somewhere else.

I really enjoy playing the new Skate game, and I like many of the newly added tricks and mechanics. However, I personally enjoy doing a lot of flatground tricks, and I feel like there are still many possibilities missing in that area.

With reverts and no-complys, it is possible to make certain movements visually look like flatground tricks, but as far as I know, there are not many actual flatground trick options implemented yet.

I would honestly be happy about any additional flatground tricks, but I also had one specific idea:

Since the Dark Flip was added in one of the recent updates, I thought it would be really cool if players could go into a Casper or Anti-Casper from a Dark Catch. My idea would be that once the board is caught in a Dark Catch, the player could shift or steer the board forward or backward, similar to how manuals and nose manuals work, which would then lead into a Casper or Anti-Casper.

Of course, I have no idea how difficult this would be to implement, but I still wanted to share the idea and give some feedback.

Other than that, keep up the great work!

  • I just had the same Idea, with the casper as a dark catch-manual, i thought someone would have come up with that 😁

My only concern was a casper slide needs to have one foot under the board, meaning they would need time to implement a system like that, thankfully they are planning to implement under flips, soo their is exactly the system needed for the Casper 😁 and when you do a casper + revert, it would be a Casper spin 😊
