Instant Replay Bug on Grom Freezes my game

Hey Dyros​, I'm sorry to hear about that. Not being able to use the replay editor is definitely far from ideal. The three files you see fail to validate when verifying them on Steam; that's probably linked to the anticheat, as the same often happens with other games that use the same anticheat system. And that should affect the replay editor. 

Have you tried updating the graphics driver since this issue has started? 

I will see if I need a driver update when I get back on my pc and update you.

Take your time! If the problem persists after a driver update, please share a DxDiag report, which might help us identify what could be causing it. 

It wasnt a driver update. I figured out it only happens when I try to record a clip where I wasnt skating. If I try to record me doing an emote, it freezes and wont unfreeze until I restart my pc.

Hey Dyros_TT​, I just discussed this internally, and it would be really helpful if we could get a DxDiag from you. This will help the team identify what could be causing the problem. 

Ill get it done today but I figured out emotes in general cause the replay editor to freeze when trimming. Its the emotes. However ill get the diag done. Ill also record a video to showcase the issue if you'd like.

EA_cuervo​ This is what you requested. Hopefully this helps. As stated, it only freezes if the player making the clip performed any emote before trying to trim. Not doing an emote allows the clip to run flawlessly. The only solution once it freezes is to ALT+F4 and restart the game. I've had success restarting my PC but I feel restarting the game would be fine. I just didn't know it was the emotes at the time.

Hey Dyros_TT​ , I just discussed this internally with the team, and they asked if you could please get a recording of this issue? Since you cannot export clips from the game when this bug happens, you could try using a screen recording software of your choice to grab a quick clip if that's ok.
