PLEASE stop adding tasks that require party play

Season 2 is largely a step in the right direction for the game, but in the hour and a half since launch I've run into a glaring issue. Absolutey no one wants to do a challenge in a party and there are at least 2 new tasks which require co-op.

I understand that the game is an MMO, so you want to encourage players to interact with each other. I don't have a problem with that and I always play in an open party anyways.

It seems the vast majority of the playerbase wants to play the game completely alone. I have not had one person join my party today, despite the new OTL challenges and co-op tasks. I have joined 6 open parties that stated "In a challenge" for the player status, and every single one of them left the party or the game after completing their challenge.

I believe the problem lies in how slow co-op challenges are. The 10 second startup timer and victory screen means completing challenges sometimes takes twice the amount of time. This has led many, including myself, to never want to do challenges in a party because the increased rewards aren't substantial enough for the time wasted.

So please either streamline the co-op experience or just stop adding tasks requiring co-op.

Yeah, it's super frustrating trying to complete the co-op tasks. I joined open parties, laid down party beacons. It took forever to finally find someone with an open party doing challenges. My speculation is they try to push social engagement to try to get you to have FOMO when seeing other people's cosmetics....

If you didn't do co-op, you didn't unlock the Month 1 task because you need to complete 50 goals in a party.

    Yup.

Tying weekly or seasonal challenges to playing in a party sucks. None of my friends play this game, and I feel uncomfortable spamming invites to everyone in the session on the off chance people will join, and then stick around to complete *50* challenge objectives. I'll just have to give up on that challenge and earning that completion bonus Tix. Which sucks because I never fully completed the skate pass last season because I didn't have enough tix.

You couldn't of unlocked everything.. there's rewards tied to co-op challenges beyond just tix and not enough OTL challenges yet afaik (since its S2 week 1) to unlock everything in tasks.

Plus OTL is fun, prefer them to to the regular challenges, as they allow more freedom.

I spammed invites yesterday and got a 2 person party for the co-op tasks. Def agree with this post bad design having co-op challenges without an efficient way to get a party.

I completed one OTL, but church stuck at 25 reqs with a random short time 2 person party.

I also don't have friends who play, if anyone plays regularly & is looking for a party reply your username will add as friend and reach out when theres co-op tasks before resorting to spamming randoms.
