I do agree the game seems like it's stale but apparently we're getting a park editor (presumably it will be labelled a beta so prepare yourself) which will essentially make the amount of things you can get up to in this game infinite. I run the community parks up for maybe 30-40 minutes as part of my daily playtime, I agree the amount of emphasis on vert skating is frustrating.
Hold fast because the game's biggest updates are always at the beginning of each season.
player created parks are so vague that they can literally paywall it with the battle pass or just bring back collabo zones with no private lobbies, the only thing i learnt from this game is expect the worse from every update
It's not vague at all, they've not paywalled any new features with the Skate pass and collab zones would likely just be called collab zones in a roadmap seeing as people already call them that. EA explictly confirmed that there will be no paid tricks, no paid gameplay areas, and no pay-to-win mechanics, which is a promise they have held themselves to with no issues.
We've got a system already in the game called Community Parks, it would take significant mental effort to imagine any world where they internally swap the names of two things they've already made names for. It'd be like going to the supermarket and the oranges are called apples and vice versa.
