Random CPU Overload

My PC has great specs to easily be able to run this game, I have been running on all the highest settings with no hiccups and even streaming it. Since season 1 came out, things were a little choppy with things, but then today when I was playing with a buddy we finished a challenge and it didnt save any of the progress and then my game became super choppyy. My CPU was at 80-95% so I restarted the game. Same thing, maybe it's my drivers, with Battlefield coming out tomorrow there was a new driver update. Installed it, verified integrity of files on steam, restarted the PC, and launched the game. Same thing, so then I decided to start nerfing graphics. I took everything from Ultra(have been running for a week no issues once again) and set it to low. No difference. One push on the board and my CPU just cant handle it. I launched Black Ops 6 and Borderlands 4 and both ran buttery smooth. I don't know what happened, probably the rip score glitch, but something changed and it makes my game unplayable, and this game is not that demanding. Not complaining, just wanting to make this known.
