Just wanted to come back and say I was on the right track for my guesses earlier in this thread... they lowered the daily bonus for the "wood nickels" to 20 instead of 100, they completely removed weekly challenges so we can't even earn the even currency that way, and unlike the halloween event, you get the event currency instead of event currencies. I don't think the devs were ready for events to take place. They should have just put all of their effort into the Halloween event or the fall event and gotten rid of the other.
