Skatepedia – 0 Gravity Trick Configuration/Practice

Hi I’m sorry for the AI explanation I’m just not very good at explaining my ideas I hope you understand the idea I’m putting across would appreciate any feedback 🤙 MANLIKEMEEEEE in game feel free to add me 👌

Skatepedia – 0 Gravity Trick Practice

I have an idea for an addition to Skatepedia that I think could make learning tricks much easier.

When selecting a trick in Skatepedia, there could be an optional 0-gravity practice mode.

The character would be suspended in the air rather than falling, allowing you to experiment with the exact controller inputs needed to perform the trick.

For example, you could:

  • Move the analogue sticks and see exactly what direction/input is being registered.
  • Experiment with different combinations of inputs.
  • See the character and skateboard remain suspended so you can clearly see how each input affects the trick.
  • Reset instantly and try another combination.
  • Practise the exact configuration before attempting the trick normally in the game.

The idea isn’t to add a new playable area or change the normal physics of the game. It’s simply a controlled practice tool within Skatepedia.

I think this would be particularly useful for more complicated tricks where it’s difficult to understand exactly what combination of inputs is required while the character is simultaneously falling and trying to land.

It would basically let players figure out “what inputs do I need to do this trick?” in a controlled environment, then take what they’ve learned into normal skating.

I think it would fit really well with Skatepedia and the game’s focus on learning tricks through controller skill.
