I'm not gonna' lie. I've been begging for First Person since I started playing.
ReSkate has it first try. Also Skate 3 map, skate 2 map, etc. San Van night..
There's SO MUCH THEY BROUGHT TO YOUR GAME, HOWWWWWWWWW?
I'm trying not to go and download RESKATE so PLEASE COMPETE!
If you bring First Person to SKATE4 I will never need to download ReSKATE for the experience.
If they were to bring back the maps, they would likely want to completely revamp all the visuals and have to double check that everything functions as normal. The modders are just porting the maps and their assets, textures etc in and it shows, because the maps themselves really do not look great and clash harshly with the Skate. character models which are highly polished.
You can go and download it, it's a temporary novelty which everyone will get bored with very quickly.
