The new map is behind a paywall??

I wasted 30 hours on this pos. The reason Fortnite works as early access is because THEY MADE THE GAME FUN. I dont need to buy anything in Fortnite to know i can play for hours and have a great time. Its already disgusting how you suck the soul and skate culture out of the game but its another just put the only possible fun thing i looked forward to on this game behind a paywall. Im truly convinced that EA purposefully doesn’t want to be successful or is truly too incompetent to do so.

    Free to play games need to make money but they also need free to play content updates. The seasonal event stuff is usually the most we get and that's just a community park and some basic cosmetics. EA seems to just be trying to money max and I don't even think it's working out for them, they'd make more money just selling us skate 4 rather than whatever this is.
