Using the cars

This is more of a small gripe but it was classic to the previous skate entries. Since you don’t have to fight security or pedestrians in this game it seems like cars are some of the main obstacles in the streets. However, if that’s the case they are missing some key features as of 9/23/25. While everyone was jumping off sky scrapers my entire test run, I did all possible challenges and when I ran out I turned to some classic skate antics: playing in traffic.

It apparently isn’t possible for your board to go under a car’s frame. I am not sure if it is a bug or not but if you try to hippie jump the cars like in previous games it just stops at the bumper or stays under it in the middle even if it looks like it should fit under. This was a classic skate game thing to do. It also doesn’t seem like you can hitch on to the back of a car in this game? I feel like that is a missed opportunity especially to keep a more “skate… skate game” feel. It kinda feels like a peaceful GTA lobby with people just flying around sorta in the air.
