Unfortunately this issue was accidentally re-introduced in one of the recent updates:
Fast traveling while onboard will unintentionally change the camera angle during gameplay.
For any who were unaware:
While in gameplay, clicking RS/R3 while onboard to toggle camera height.
A couple work arounds while waiting for issue to be resolved:
- Disable Camera Height control
- Within Settings>Gameplay>Advanced Camera>Camera Height Control
- This will completely turn off the toggle
- Fast traveling while off board will not cause the issue
- Adjusting muscle memory is a challenge within itself though
