A guide on surviving the enemy hvv team in a 1v4

I cannot tell you the number of times I had clueless teammates who explore the map instead of fighting. So if it is pretty much a 1v4 should I quit? Nah, I enjoy the challenge and the thrill.

Key tips against saber only teams.

Parry-if you do not know how to do it there are lots of videos online about it. Will  safe you in some situations while, if you run into some new swing spammers then enjoy them being confused how are they being hit.

Dodges-I do not like the duels/games that turn into a dodge competition of who can hit who in the back, but they are good for doing exactly that  and evading abilities.

Know your hero/villian's playstyle. I will get a little deeper into my recommendations/tactics to use for my choice of saber heroes.

Do not play a blaster unless you are the max han player with insane rolling skills.

Key tips against blasters.

DO NOT swing spam, hit them once they run out of rolls. Jump attacks are also a pretty good way of damaging a rolly boy.

Try to separate them/catch them off guard. Hopefully you know not to run head on while your stamina get destroyed, think smarter try to separate them at least a little from their sabers and go in for the kill.

Best saber heroes/villains in my opinion

LS Luke-very good CC amazing swing speed fast regen for both health and stamina, bit of a glass cannon but he is too good to not try. Obi-if you play smart, then  it is ez parry and block all day. Honorable mention-Ani,horrible stamina but the infamous ragdoll loop.

DS-Dooku,insane dmg output, one of the best to parry with, only problem is lunge broken, but you have 3 dodges by default. Palpy,if you play smart and use his insane dodges against a saber only team then you will be pretty much unkillable. Honorable mention-the infamous GG claw rush all day if you are getting completely destroyed.

Bit of in depth tactics for my choices- Luke Sc are

Epicenter-good finisher stops regen since passes through blocks.

Intensify,if you can survive then combined with insane SS he will be a monster.

Jedi Fighter-extra stamina is essential.

Dooku cards:

Extra regen is essential

Extra stamina-you will be able to swing most out of any saber hero in the game with card maxed.

Masterful duelst-only 20 more dmg but with insane SS of duelist you will destroy the hp of any cocky swing spammer.

Obi cards

Extra regen

Either of block stamina cards

Extra range on push-cannot tell how useful it is pushing a whole team into the hoth pit is hilarious.

Palpy cards

Extra lightning range

Extra stamina

Rule of 2

For the last 4(obi,GG,ani and palpy) I described the strategies pretty much in last paragraph so let me tell you about luke+dooku.

Both are amazing if you parry because of SS so parrying is essential if you know how to do it.

Luke strategies-I rush into a group, repulse and kill the weaker enemy first, then most of the time there will be a cocky swing spammer who is easy to parry, and by that time you should intensify at max.Try to outdodge anyone and land hits from the back if they keep on block spamming, then epicenter will stop their health regen.

Dooku Strategies.Activate duelist-Then just parry all day long, since you have 3 dodges you can play mind games with you opponents.

Big shoutous for all of the people who suggested heroes/villians for this post on my last thread! Probably could have been much more in depth, but eh.

Dooku has three dodges, but they are very short and his lunge is very small, so you can't fight long range in any form.

If your in a inclosed area like the center in Kashyyyk or in the bunker in Endor your practically screwed no matter what. All you can do is use a ability like Grievous claw rush or kylo rens freeze and use that time to escape.Though if your in a open area like outside on Kashyyyk or Yavin 4 then I would recommend trying to separate them and fighting them one at a time.Try to use your ability’s like Luke’s force push.Han’s grenade,or anything else to knock the enemy away. You could also try camping a ledge on Kashyyyk or Bespin and hope they will see you by yourself and try to rush you down while you use a force attack and knock them off the edge.Though most smart players will simply block or snipe you with a blaster hero.

  • when I am playing 1 vs 4 because my teams sucks, I just run off cliffs / run out of map 🙂

  • Sometimes I challenge them to a emote battle but there’s always that one guy in the enemy team that just doesn’t care.

  • @alexz3 Why? If you are going to die anyways you might as well fight, you and the other team will both get xp and maybe you will be able to survive or get a kill, everyone benefits 🙂
