Battlefront 2 Not Launching

game wont even launch, uninstalled on EA and rebought via steam and still not launching. tried deleting cache/settings through documents, updating EA, restarting EA, verifying files, turning off in game overlay, running as admin, using compatibility, ran a scan through cmd, went through environment variables and literally every thing else. I try to launch the exe file directly and it says missing msvcp120.dll, I tried installing windows c++ (both 64x and 86x bit). I tried literally everything and it still fails to work. any actual help would be appreciated.
