Ever since the update went through a day ago or so I haven't been able to play the game. Every time I launch it in origin it does the cloud sync and then nothing happens, no black screen, my processor doesn't even gain any load, literally nothing happens. I've got 55 hours in the game and have been playing since launch, never had this happen once before the update.

If you're not sure how to do the second option, just do the first since it's easier, but you'll have to change your in-game settings back to what you use.

If you can change your graphics settings for shadows from HFTS to Ultra via Nvidia Gforce experience it solved a similar issue I had.

i have tried every suggestion here plus done clean windows install and game still wont launch is there any advice from the people who actually made this trash of a game
So what I did is updated my drivers for my graphics card then updated the game itself and finally right clicked on game and hit the repair option it scanned and downloaded a file update and tada! Its worling! Hope this works for everyone.

I have tried all the solutions and the only solution that throws this game is the prayer. A shot he will launch at the end of the third tetnative, a blow at the end of the 10th, you never know. EA takes us for idiots, it's a real scandal. everyone is willing enough to try to find solutions when we are not computer technicians and EA acts with impunity. You have to complain, it's enough to sell unfinished products, it's illegal.
