Battlefront II - Steam - EA Account
I've been going in circles for many, many, MANY hours trying to get Battlefront II game to work. I purchased Battlefront II (3 pack, Battlefront II, Squadrons, Fallen Order), on my steam accounts (mine and my 2 kids). I purchased through each individual account. Then I had to create EA accounts for each account kid (I already had one).
Some of my troubleshooting: I've updated C++, directX, app permissions, clean boots, tried loading from the application folder instead via Steam or EA. The game will not load on my kids accounts. When you click the green play button, it then processes for a little bit then goes back to green play button. The other pop up I get is the image below (IMAGE A)
Steam says its not their product so they won't help. EA support webpage is an endless loop of click here usually ends back at the start of the search loop. The lack of effort by both Steam and EA is pretty frustrating.
I've created EA cases from the EA support website, which the only response was a spam email asking "how was our support?" The answer may be to just ask for a refund and not play EA games in general that are sold on Steam. I'd prefer to be able to play the games though. Thoughts?
