Battlefront Progress WON'T Transfer from PS5 to PC

I recently switch from PS5 to PC. I linked my accounts to steam. My battlefield progress was there, However my Star Wars Battlefront 2 didn't link up properly and wants me to start over/new. What can...

Unfortunately due to EA's lack of care for the game there is no cross-progression.
