Blocking animation/function does not work

Summarize your bug After selecting a hero with a blocking ability at the beginning of a match, the blocking function cannot be activated.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select a blocking hero (or Boba Fett) at the beginning of a match, and press the left trigger.
What happens when the bug occurs? The blocking animation and function do not occur. For Boba Fett, the jet pack does not work.
What do you expect to see? The blocking animation and function should occur. For Boba Fett, the jet pack should be usable.

Occasionally when spawning in as a hero with a block ability, the blocking action is disabled. Pressing the left trigger does not perform a block animation. The issue also effects Boba Fett’s jet pack, making it unusable.
The issue does not seem to effect any other actions mapped to the left trigger. I have tested using 2 different controllers and the issue persists.
Respawning seems to fix the issue, but this is not practical in most game types.
