@itsfrancis11 I requested a refund, they did it.
so now the game cant launch at all, even not from steam, because that key didnt work at all, and now the Epic one doesnt wark too.
I have a plan, but idk if its gonna work.
First get a refund from Epic Games so that you don't own the game anymore, then delete the Epic Games Store, after that Orgin. When thats done, open the game through Steam, Steam then will install Orgin and maybe, it will be not linked to Epic anymore?
I hope that makes sense and works, but I'm not sure if it;s worth a try because by deleting the Epic Games Store It will delete all the games I have and reinstalling them will take ages (GTA Fortnite Rocketleague and more)...

I already uninstalled the Epic Launcher and it didn't work, but I won't request a refund to the Epic, it's my right. EA has to make it work for both a Launcher (Epic) and another (Steam), I'm paying for the EA Play on Steam and I want my game on Steam, and I have a Copy on Epic and I want my copy on Epic. That simple!!!

Hey everyone,
One idea I have seen is to uninstall both versions of the game and then install Steam version and try to start the game again on Steam and see if that helps.Let me know if that helps.(Issue is being tracked by us)/Atic - 5 years ago
@GStrifeX Totaly agree with you man
and also thx for the info, now I wont delete Epic and GTA and will save a good 14 Hours of Download

@Stan_Java That's is the problem, I won't delete games with more than 70GB of data because of an EA error. This is certainly a problem in linking EA / Epic / Steam accounts, it has nothing to do with the files on my computer. Promotions to attract customers are always good, but they must be done responsibly, they cannot harm customers who have already paid for services, this is a lack of attention from the EA team.

for F sake, actually why you guys get this game again on epic where you already own it on steam!!?? this is dumb

@decimal4000I'll use Epic copy after my EA Play sub is over at Steam, what's the dumb thing here?
BTW I'll never buy another EA subscription again.
- 5 years ago@grynn oh, well if you are ea play user you deserve claim and play it on epic game, but for anyone who already bought the single copy of the game through steam, why the hell you link it with your epic claimed games?? beside all of this you know this game is fragile, i mean there will be chance for issue to be persist.

that's also a good point, but it also should not aliterate the game, like lol xd why shouldn't I have the option to own a game on two Platforms if I want to?
@smugglyosa but I think the problem seems to be on Epics side since it affects not only steam Versions but also Orgin ones, like Epic should not be able to Take over game files from other platforms

Agreed I did not install on epic. It found my Origin files on a 3rd HD so it looked for it. It downgraded my version is what gets me. I won't buy EA games until this is fixed. On the Epic side there is no option to do anything either. No uninstall or deactivate. A Mess!
- 5 years ago@decimal4000 Oh yes it was very dumb, and all of us free game grabbing fools are paying for our hording greed. Your comment is the precise thing I keep telling myself lol
- 5 years ago
@MichiganJack Sorry man, but this is not about greed, but about the incompetence of EA. I have EA Play on Steam, I don't have a copy of Battlefront II that is MY. It's my right to have a copy of myself in the store where I want it.
