I have a plan, but idk if its gonna work.
First get a refund from Epic Games so that you don't own the game anymore, then delete the Epic Games Store, after that Orgin. When thats done, open the game through Steam, Steam then will install Orgin and maybe, it will be not linked to Epic anymore?
I hope that makes sense and works, but I'm not sure if it;s worth a try because by deleting the Epic Games Store It will delete all the games I have and reinstalling them will take ages (GTA Fortnite Rocketleague and more)...
I already uninstalled the Epic Launcher and it didn't work, but I won't request a refund to the Epic, it's my right. EA has to make it work for both a Launcher (Epic) and another (Steam), I'm paying for the EA Play on Steam and I want my game on Steam, and I have a Copy on Epic and I want my copy on Epic. That simple!!!

Hey everyone,
One idea I have seen is to uninstall both versions of the game and then install Steam version and try to start the game again on Steam and see if that helps.Let me know if that helps.(Issue is being tracked by us)/Atic- 5 years ago
@EA_Atic Thanks for at least trying to help. But you see, the problem is I have not installed the game on epic, it automatically was assigned to the Steam game file and probably overwrote the Steam game Authentification code since it was another copy of the game

I have same problem. I own the deluxe version on Origin. Got the free version on epic and it found my Origin version without me installing it and all my DLC is dead now. They invent ways to mess things up. I have never had this trouble before with any other duplicates from Epic.
- 5 years ago@EA_Atic Is it possible to remove my EGS version of Battlefront from my Origin account?
Thus far seems not, people have reported having it in the inventory even after getting a refund. I don't know, if we can do anything but wait for an official update or release.

@GStrifeX Totaly agree with you man
and also thx for the info, now I wont delete Epic and GTA and will save a good 14 Hours of Download

@Stan_Java That's is the problem, I won't delete games with more than 70GB of data because of an EA error. This is certainly a problem in linking EA / Epic / Steam accounts, it has nothing to do with the files on my computer. Promotions to attract customers are always good, but they must be done responsibly, they cannot harm customers who have already paid for services, this is a lack of attention from the EA team.

@cybersteel014 it did work, I can play on Steam no problemo
for anyone who ONLY has Battlefront linked between Orgin and Epic games here is a solution that has worked by me, I hope it also works for you:
BEFORE YOU START TO FOLLOW THE STEPS FIRST READ EVERYTHING
1. uninstall Battlefront on Steam
2. uninstall the Orgin app from your PC
3. get a refund on the Epic Games Store (so you don't own the game on epic anymore, and I'm also not sure if you may be able to skip this step, but if you can still get a refund just do it. To refund it, simply contact Epic Games on their help by pressing the "contact us" button and ask them for a refund. Yet you are only able to do it if the purchase is not more than 14 days and you haven't played the game for more than 2 hours.) here's a link to contact Epic:
https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/search?page=1&query=refund
4. after you got the refund make sure that the game doesn't show up in the Epic Games Launcher library, if that's the case then go to the next step, if not ask Epic to help you (their support team is really kind and ask for just deleting the game from your account)
5. now you can contact EA Help, in the direct conversation you should just tell them about the same as what I told them (screenshots below), and here's the link to contact EA:
https://help.ea.com/de/contact-us/
6. after EA hopefully has completely unlinked your Epic account from Orgin, you can start to download your Steam Battlefront
7. if you have gone through all those steps and your download has finished and you also installed Orgin again, now the game should work
[DISCLAIMER] It has worked in my case, but it doesn't mean that it will in yours, so I don't want to be blamed for your lost time if it doesn't. But hopefully it will.
good luck
