Can't unlock or upgrade star cards

Cannot unlock or upgrade any cards for 2 days now. I have not seen this before and I have reinstalled already for PC. I also restarted my PC and still cannot do anything. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

  • To answer your question I own the standalone game on steam and also from the xbox game pass.

    I do not know what happened but now my game is fixed. I did not do anything just decided to log in on sunday night and everything seemed back to normal. I guess my account was bugged because I have never seen that issue before. Thank you for assistance in trying to help me out.

    Hey @IIISiLVERM00N,

    Welcome.

    That sounds frustrating indeed.

    A few things I would like to mention/ask:
    - Do you have the required upgrade parts and requirements for the starcard level and your account level?

    - Your class level requirement needs to be one level higher than what it mentions. For example; so for the first upgrade it says you need class level 10, but in reality the upgrade only unlocks when you reach level 11.

    - Apart from reinstalling the game, have you also tried to repair the game or a complete restart?

  • Hello thank you for responding. I have reinstalled and restarted my PC. I deleted all files that were related to battlefront 2 and I am still having the same issue. I have tried playing from the xbox app, EA app, and the steam version and have had the same issue. When I get on my Xbox everything is fine and I can still unlock and upgrade star cards for my heroes. As you can see from the picture I provided in my first post there is a dash through the cards that are locked. When I hover over the locked card the unlock button is greyed out and I cannot unlock the card. In the picture you can also see I have 13 skill points for Rey and cannot unlock her very first card. I guess could you walk me through repairing the game. I think something is wrong with my account and I have not seen anything online with people having the same issue that I am having. If you need more pictures I will provide them. I am just trying to play the game with my friends.

    It's unfortunate to hear that the steps haven't solved the issue.

    Just a question; how do you own the game exactly? Is this via EA Play for Steam, standalone purchase on Steam/Origin, EA Play for Origin, or EA Play from Xbox Game Pass?

  • @IIISiLVERM00N All my progress has been deleted and I can’t unlock anything, was rank 175 and yet everything was gone one morning after I purchased the extra rim maps.
