Computer Freezes on Game Launch

I decided to re-install Battlefront 2 last night after not playing for a few years, but no matter what I try the game refuses to properly launch. I've re-installed twice, swapped from DirectX12 to 11 and back, turned off all my overlays, repaired the game files, and nothing has made a difference. I don't know if this matters, but I'm accessing the game through Xbox Game Pass/EA Play and installed using the EA App.

 I also looked into the CrashReports folder and used WinDbg and ChatGPT to help diagnose the crash. According to the chatbot, "This crash dump indicates that starwarsbattlefrontii.exe (Star Wars Battlefront II) crashed due to a null pointer dereference — specifically, it tried to write to memory address 0x00000000, which is invalid." I've tried the various suggestions it came up with and nothing has helped.
