Duplicates Still DONT give back CREDITS!!!

Same, downloaded patch (checked out the you Hero tie).

Played a couple of games of arcade.

Open a daily crate - got a duplicate (some for Rey, grey card) and guess what! NO CREDITS!

Come on EA!

This game is basically broken, I can no longer progress, and I'm not the only one.

This thread is over a month old with 17 (!) pages and around 161 (!!) replies.

What's going on? and when is this (if it ever is) gonna be fixed?

Same here.........................have this bug for a month now and missed a lot of credits :-(

I've play the game without open any crate (except daily) about 80-100 hours of gameplay. Approximately 200k credits is waiting and I want to update my starcards. That is enough to wait until update. I guess EA don't concern about starcards or crates until they don't making money from it. Unfortunately it is part of game. 

Please close all crate system until bug solved (inc. daily) or solve the problem. It is unfiar to players that have this problem. It is now a problem not a bug.

Hi, as you've noted today's patch didn't address this issue, but this fix is still in the works. 

I'm trying to get an official statement about backfilling missed duplicate credits, but I'll update this when I get any info.

I hadn't received any duplicate credits from crates for two weeks. Today with the patch I receive 200 credits from duplicate common card in my daily crate. I'm on Playstation platform so whatever you did maybe this information will help you that the problem still occurs for some of us.

@Deadloth Thank you, that's quite interesting. It looks like the fix for this wasn't able to make it to this patch. 

Were you able to open any regular crates? If so did you get the credits from those duplicates?

@EA_David Here comes the interesting part, I tried what you suggest on 4000 credit cost crate. In create opening screen I see that I received another 200 credits on my currency values. As soon as I open home screen it was 200 credits reduced so I have no idea what is going on. On the other hand I'm pretty sure I received the 200 from daily crate. I'll let you know if I can farm more to open any other crates today.

@Deadloth Thank you for checking that, and thank you for the info about the fake temporary credits. I've been able to go through your logs since your first post, and it looks like you didn't get the 200 credit increase with your daily crate today.

@EA_David Even from the daily? I was hyped for nothing after I saw my credits are increased during opening screen then I didn't pay any attention on home screen. On the other hand as I told you, before the patch my currency had not changed at all for two weeks on any process related to duplicates. It's my mistake then but I hope it's still a thing.

As of this morning, I see this behavior...

Buying a crate deducts the credits.

Revealing the cards one at a time adds the credits for duplicates, but then those added credits disappear when I back out of the opening screen.

Revealing the cards all at once does not even add the credits temporarily.

so...  in both cases, the total on my account loses the duplicate credits when I've hit the circle button.  That's the PS4 button for open all, and then to back out to the crate menu.  Does that button call some method that ends up calling a credit recalc?  Maybe this leads you somewhere?

I think I can safely say that most of us were expecting this to be fixed today with the patch.

Since our issue has not yet been resolved, maybe you can answer a few questions for us:

Has the bug been isolated?  From a couple of your responses this morning, it does not appear that it has been since you are still gathering data.

What is the team's priority level for this bug?  Not complaining, but the patch included "increased night mode frequency" which I've seen exactly ZERO people clamoring for.  Yet a known bug that is affecting player progression has seemingly been ignored.

How many people are working on it (besides you and @EA_Atic giving us the periodic "yeah, we know, MAYBE we'll fix it")?

I think for the most part the community understands that you're a mouthpiece with no control over our concern's priority but this is a serious issue for the people being affected.  EA designed the game to promote player progression via Star Cards and crate purchases.  To have a fundamental aspect of that progression system be so seriously flawed is a problem that should be remedied sooner rather than later.  But hey, at least we have Tatooine at night now!  Sigh.

Agreed!  I just want to know if we'll get credit for the missing credits.  If not, I'll sit on my pile and watch it grow until the fix has been received.  If we will get credit, I keep opening for the crafting parts so we can keep leveling up our cards.  It would be nice to have a legit answer for once.  I understand there are a lot of moving pieces and @EA_David thinks we may get our credits returned but without any meaningful updates, it's pretty frustrating.
