I totally agree! Ubisoft did the exact same thing with "The Division" and "For Honor". With The Division, It was documented very well with a contributing writing from Forbes magazine. And also with my own reviews that I wrote about the hype of what the game is going to be .. and the realization from players that they were nothing more than a fraction of a percent worthy of any attention.
Not to mention the developers constantly making the game worse, nerfing equipment, changing rolls or attributes of everything. A gamer even pointed OUT the "developers" made several mistakes with mathematical properties.
UPDATE -
So we all pre-ordered a "maybe" working game, received a full working game November 14th - November 16th 2017. Then the "semi" working game was changed by EA / Dice November 17th 2017 and went to failures for Achievements, Duplicates, Emotes, etc.
And yes I totally AGREE that the EA / Dice Members while having no "real" control over what the company does, is basically giving us, the gamers, further scripted propaganda. Especially since it was their "UPDATE" that did this!
GameStop or any other retailer will not accept a return for this game.
My lame financial institution of PNC Bank, will not dispute said transaction, basically negating "VISA" Credit Card Rules and Regulations.
Basically what is left is a Class Action Suit against EA / Dice because I did not pay for a broken game.
If ANYONE from EA or Dice would like to check my account, perform any troubleshooting ... you are welcome to contact me. But I sincerely doubt I will hear from anyone.
You have failed this city.
