Error 721 and 770

Since yesterday evening i cannot connect to the ea servers in battlefront 2. The connect-button spamming method doesn't  work, no matter how long i do it. 98 % of the time i get the 721 error and sometimes the 770. I repaired the files in the ea app multiple times, i cleared the app cache, i disabled all overlays, checked the dns stuff(which is  at the values that it should be) ,restarted the app and the game dozens of times and my computer a couple of times and nothing changes. I just don't get it, up until yesterday evening everything worked perfectly and i didn't get the errors 721 and 770 once when i started up the game, it just connected without a problem. I didn't change or update anything, it just won't connect anymore. No matter how often i spam the connect button.

Is there something going on with the ea servers because of the higher player count right now?

  • the 721 has been here for years 770 dont know that one. 721 just keep hitting connect like it dose

  • I open the game and get into the loading screen for a match and get returned to the main lobby saying my connection was lost. I have a very fast wired connection and have no issues on other games. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified game files, and ran as administrator.  Is it an EA server issue?

  • Hello, I own swbf2 in epic game store and launch through ea app I have an ea account and it let's me launch the game and get in but when I try to play it says I need to connect to the ea servers and will say failed to connect. Does anybody know a solution to this problem. (BTW I get error code 721 if that helps.)

Same problem here I hit connect for at least 30mins straight to no avail. Sadly I don’t think it will ever get fixed unless it works itself out miraculously.

Hello! This may simply be a generic connection error. If you’re currently using Wi-Fi, try connecting with a cable instead. Additionally, make sure to repair the game files through the EA app or verify the files using the Steam client.
It may also be a good idea to add the game to the exceptions list in your firewall and antivirus software.

Launch the EA app and go to your Library.
Find the game you want to repair and select the three-dot menu in the top right-hand corner of the game tile.
    Choose Repair.
When the game finishes repairing, try launching it again.
