Game-breaking input bug
As of recent, I have been experiencing persistent input issues when using a gamepad. The problem occurs randomly, but consistently, in every match I’ve played. It does not occur when using keyboard and mouse, and so far appears to be limited exclusively to gamepad use.
I’ve tested the issue with both a PS5 DualSense (my primary controller) and an Xbox One controller, and both exhibit the same behavior.
I’ve also disabled Steam Input while testing with the Xbox controller, but the problem still persisted — suggesting Steam Input is likely not the cause. Additionally, I have tested this across four different PCs, all running unmodded copies of the game on Steam, and the issue was present on all systems.
To further demonstrate the issue, I’ve linked three clips showing the bug occurring just today — these are only a small sample of how frequently it happens. I’ve also included a YouTube video of myself walking around Takodana in an offline match, where the problem still occurs. These examples clearly show how widespread and persistent this bug is.
