Games not loading

Question

I recently reinstalled Star Wars Battlefront 2 through the Epic games store and Battlefield 5 through the Xbox game pass and neither work. I had no problems in the past when using origin to launch these games and now I have to use the EA App? I hit play on either game and the EA app will disappear as if the game is going to start and then it pops back up seconds later with no game. This happens for both games no matter where I launch it from or if I launch as admin. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both games and the EA app multiple times. Disabled background services to no avail. I have hit a dead end any help is appreciated thank you for your time.

You're trying to play two different games that you apparently bought from two different companies. You need to launch from the launcher provided by the company you bought the game for. So, for SWBF2 (the game this sub-forum focuses on) you need to always launch from Epic.&nbsp;
Generally, the sequence for fixing this is:

uninstall the game, Epic launcher and EA launcher (EA app)
install Epic launcher
install EA App
install (and run) the game from Epic

Above is not a sure-fire way of resolving your issue. You may have an account issue for which you will want to contact EA support or Epic support directly.
