Graphics artifacting, corruption/ghosting with the latest 17.12.x AMD driver

I have the same problem. Yesterday I updated to the new AMD Adrenaline drivers 17.12.1 and every GA match which I start, starts with a huge FPS drop for about 15sec. After it I start to run and the game is stuttering for some reason until a certain amount of time in the game where its gone and then this ghost effect is occuring. I really like the game, please fix it asap.

Someone on the AMD forum (https://community.amd.com/thread/223278) said to deactivate the AMD Shader-Cache and reactivate it again. The effect was gone but I can't really say its gone forever, need more to test.

Update: I deinstalled MSI Afterburner and it partially solved my issue, its still stuttering.

I have the very same issue !  Very annoying as some maps the "ghost image" makes it difficult if not impossible to play effectively.

Toggling the Shader Cache via AMD control panel doesn't resolve it and disabling AO via game options makes me upset that i have a $250 GFX card installed ;-)

Please resolve ASAP or push your partners at AMD to fix this problem.  Thank you !

Same problem here.
I didn't have an issue when I first played on the map, but every time since has been like it.
The bug also causes flickering on the starfighter select screen and top 5 screen for this map.

I've the same issue with a graphical card R9 380, if i change HBAO Max to HBAO, It works properly.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It just started happening today and the only thing I changed from yesterday was installing League of Legends which I think might have installed DirectX 9? Don't know how that would change anything.
What happens when the bug occurs? The outlines of previously seen textures (such as walls, stairs etc.) remain on the screen. Please look at attached screenshots.

Can you let us know if disabling and then re-enabling Ambient Occlusion via the graphics settings has an effect on this please?
