I cannot join any game

When I launch Battlefront 2, the game is gray and slightly blurry compared to the desktop, but every time I select a game mode and wait a moment, the screen (with the planet) turns off instead of joining the game and I'm back on the desktop. Even when I let it sit for 30 minutes I cannot join any game.
