Saw a video off IGN that theorized those troopers at the end with Moff Gideon could be a canon appearance of Dark Troopers. They also pointed out the clones in the tanks looked a lot like Snoke. Not sure if these Dark Troopers will be just like the now Legends material or not.
Also, not sure who "the volunteer" could be that the doctor was talking about.

There is a star wars explained video that says that if you turn english audio discription on it calls the soldiers dark troopers. havent tried it yet but ill take his word for it.
