@DvveeboI agree with everything you said. I'm glad Disney went with the traditional weekly episode format. It does let you enjoy it more, talk about it, and build anticipation for what is coming next. So much better than binging it day one, then having to wait a whole year for more lol.
I noticed Amazon switched Expanse to a weekly format starting this season. They aired the first 3 episodes day one with the rest coming out weekly. Seems they've noticed the benefit of stretching the content out longer. CBS All Access has been airing their Star Trek shows weekly as well.

[...] Another thought...what if the Jedi who reaches out to Grogu is none other that Luke Skywalker? Could happen!! They did a younger version for the force projection scene in Last Jedi and flashback scenes. I'm sure they could pull it off with Mark Hamill for Mandalorian.
(Thank you.) Yes!
Ah, I haven't actually been following where Mando might be streaming elsewhere/outside of D+, so this is good to hear. (The Star Trek stuff is a bit off topic, so I'll look into it on my own time, but that sounds great too. Last I saw of Star Trek stuff was a cartoon that seemed to take inspiration from Rick & Morty, so I should check to see what I'm missing out on currently.)
(*I was waiting to see who would answer Grogu's call)
You called it with the Deep Fake & with it being Luke, well done!
Maybe, they will be using Sebastian Stan for future footage which could focus more on Luke's time at the temple with his younglings? (Honestly, I thought Star Wars was done with DeepFakes after that whole thing with Leia ticked off a bunch of fans, lol. Plus, it doesn't seem plausible to make long session footage using DeepFake - it just doesn't look as realistic as a person's face, especially with mouth movements.)
This tie in is going to make Luke's eventual character destination all the more resonating & crushing... When we learn that Luke didn't just fail Kylo, he failed the ADORABLE GROGU. (& possibly more would-be Padawanz. But it's so much more dramatic when you know the characters that were involved. It's going to be heart breaking when they get to that point. All the more because it won't just be some word of mouth story you haven't seen. Being there as an observer along the way is going to hurt a lot more... )
But that's just one part of the general Star Wars adventure... Typically, the Force Sensitives' stories don't interest me as much as the standard civiz of the sci-fi.
'Going to be interesting to see what Din does when he returns to his armorer with the ruling symbol of Mandalore.

@DvveeboThanks! I guess it's easy to throw out theories when they seem too good to be true lol.
I'm not sure we have to worry about Grogu and Luke's academy. That's 20 years away. There's a good chance he's not even there. Given that he's already had a measure of training, he might be a full Jedi Knight, if not a Jedi Master...or something happens and he quits like Ashoka did. lol - 5 years ago

I cant recall, did they say this takes place before the final scene in Rebels?
I assumed Boba might show up in Rangers of the New Republic, but this is so much better if its his own show. Even if its a mini-series before Mando seasonThat would be a very quick level up for Grogu. 20 years for him might be something akin to 2 years, considering the life span of his species seems vast. You could be right though, after all, you already impressively/accurately predicted Luke/DeepFake.

Good point. Dave Filoni was actually saying in an interview The Mandalorian has a possibility of taking place before the final events in Rebels, I think? So, maybe Ahsoka wasn't looking for Ezra. I've edited my previous post about that. What if the Ahsoka we saw in the Mandalorian was an Ahsoka from another dimension. Or timeline. History with the Mortis entities, & individuals tied to their fates, could make for all kinds of shenanigans. - 5 years ago
@DvveeboYou could be right about Grogu. I had another thought too that maybe he ends up on Mandalore with Din? Ahsoka theory is interesting too. I'm not sure how she got back from Malachor and who she's talked to at this point.
I forgot to mention that the Star Trek shows I was talking about on CBS All Access are live action. They have kicked off their own new Star Trek live action "universe" on the service much like Disney is doing Star Wars. Right now it consists of Star Trek Discovery and Picard with other shows on the way like a new show following Enterprise and Captain Pike.
