Menu and Game stuck on UP key or UPWARDS

Hi,

This is my first ORIGIN game and I am already very upset! I usually purchase games on STEAM and they all work nicely.

If I am in the menu it is like the UP key is stuck and the menu rotates through settings always upwards.

Also if I just start the game the character starts walking like I am pressing the UP key all the time.

I have already unplugged external devices and tried a different mouse.

I can not configure anything nor play the game.

How do I fix this!?

Thanks in advance!

  • I actually fixed it by removing and reinstalling the Logitech Setpoint software.

So this is not an Origin issue of course but still weird that this game had an issue with Setpoint.

    Thanks,

    Marty

    Hey @BlazeBlade99

I'm sorry to hear about your problem, especially if it's your first experience with a game purchased on Origin ☹️

Could you try to use the Repair option on Origin first. If it doesn't work please delete your local settings for SWB2. You will find them in your documents -> STAR WARS Battlefront II -> settings. Just remove the whole "settings" folder.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks for your reply.

I will try the suggested steps but I highly doubt that this will fix the issue.

This is a fresh install of the Origin client and BF2 game so I am not sure why a repair is needed.
