I've been stuck on optimizing shader on the main loading screen, past answers to the same issue are different for me because I got the game through epic games, and the files aren't matching up with past answers to this issue. Even when uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I also have a Lenovo laptop so its not fancy at all technical wise
DICE TeamSorry for not keeping up about this, recently I got BF2 in steam but the files types for "ini" are not in the files I have. the only file types I have are "dll" "battlefrontii", there isn't a setting folder in the files I have to change the DX11.

DICE TeamHey, @3LinedEyeLB1 can you try to do a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
